Give Service get a Free Disneyland ticket!

I just wanted to let you all know of a service opportunity that gets you a free ticket to Disneyland! Even if you don't need the ticket to Disneyland it is a wonderful way to teach your children about service. Go to the website below and follow the instructions. It will give you several different service opportunities to choose from. I choose the Scouting for Food Family Volunteer Night, Utah Food Bank, on March 29th from 6:00-7:30 pm. I thought this would be a great way for Conner and Dallin to serve. Choose one that best fits your family or sign up to do this one with me! So if you do a service project Disney will send you a free ticket to either Disneyland or Disneyworld!

Go to:
http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/disneyparks/en_US/WhatWillYouCelebrate/index?name=WhatWillYouCelebratePage#celebrate
and click on "Give & Get in 3 Simple Steps: Start Now" on the right side of the screen.
Then click on "Step 1: Search and Sign Up"
"Find an Activity"
Then enter your zip and click on search
If you are interested in the service project my family is doing it is on page 6.
Choose your service and click on show details to find out how to register for that service.

Christmas 2009

For Christmas Eve I had to convince the boys to go to Temple Square with me to look at the lights. It was a pretty quick trip because it was freezing cold out and the visitor's center was closed. It was absolutely beautiful though, I love being there and walking around surrounded by a beautiful temple and lights.
On Christmas morning little GG was so excited to get presents and toys from Santa. This is the first year that she actually understood somewhat that someone named "Santa" was bringing her presents.
Here are Dallin, Georgia, and Conner Christmas morning opening up presents. I bought the boys some needed underwear and socks and some clothes. They weren't too excited to get clothes for Christmas.
I told them to gather up the wrapping paper and to throw it away outside. They weren't too happy about that either until........ they saw the two dirt bikes in the drive way! This is one of them:
It was pretty cold out so on Friday night we decided to head down to Saint George where it was warmer so the boys could try out their new dirt bikes. Here are Conner and Dallin wearing their new FOX hats from Grandpa Oustad.
Me in Saint George.Dallin took this picture of me!

Georgia in Saint George. She loved the RED dirt and just sat in it and rolled around in it all day.
I love this picture of Georgia, she is such a cutie and she loved riding on the "Go Go." My favorite part of the trip was when Georgia would giggle and laugh as she rode on the four wheeler. She was so excited, it was precious!
Safety first! Dallin and Conner wearing their helmets!Conner riding!
We also took our 125 four wheeler. Conner rode this every day when we lived in Saratoga Springs so he is pretty comfortable on it. Here he is getting some air, pretty impresive!
Conner and Dallin on their new bikes!
This is Dallin on the second bike. It is more of a practice bike, not as nice as the other one.
Me and the men in my life!
And of course I had to try it out. I loved it and maybe someday I will get my own bike!

Sewing and Designing

This is my sewing room. I've been so busy making dresses for my two wholesale accounts in Singapore and Australia that I couldn't keep up on my own. So now I work with a company that sews my dresses for me! Here is a picture of the manufacturing plant where my dresses are now made. We did a test run of 300 dresses to start with and they turned out beautiful!

Here the fabric is being cut.
In this picture you can see the fabric all stacked up on the shelves and one of the dresses hanging there. This is a very simple dress that anyone can make. For some reason it is very popular in Singapore and Australia though. Wouldn't it be cheaper for the people in Singapore to make this dress themselves. Americans usually get things manufactured there, maybe they like it because it is American made!

This is my new logo for another project that I am working on. More to come on that!

Heely's on Sale! Awesome deal!

Another great deal: Heely's for kids only $14.95 I ordered some and it's exactly what I usually buy my boys but a lot less expensive!

Ears pierced and Go Cart Racing!

We all went to get our hair cut the other day and Amber who cuts my hair suggested getting Georgia's hair cut too even though she doesn't have much. She said it was better to get the bad ends trimmed off so it will grow longer and not break off. So we did it and Georgia loved it! She won't let me touch her hair, I can't even put a bow in it without her throwing a fit. But she sat nice and still for Amber and loved looking at herself in front of the big mirror.

Then for some reason I got this wild idea in my head that she needed her ears pierced. She kind of looks like a boy with no hair so I thought it would help her look more girly. I always wanted to wait till she was eight but she keeps getting called a boy, even if she is wearing pink!
Here she is all happy before they pierced her ears. Poor thing she had no idea what was going on!

Here she is later on at home with her pretty little earings. She doesn't like me to clean them or turn them. She is really good though about not touching them.Well, Conner decided he wanted his ears pierced too! This is the result of that wishful thinking!

They are magnets! There is no way I would let him really get it done. His father said he could! When he was 18 years old!

Conner and Dallin have been having a lot of fun lately go cart racing. There is a fun track in SLC that they like to go to. They even beat my best time and I was going as fast as I could. Here they are all ready to race!
This is Dallin, his first time!
This is Conner giving me the thumbs up!
Conner coming around a corner.
Dallin coming around the same corner.
This is what the track looks like, it is pretty big, and tons of fun!

We've been pretty busy lately. Little GG has been sick on and off for the last week or two, so that hasn't been much fun for any of us.

Random Pictures

Here is a picture of Dallin riding a dirt bike. He and Conner want a dirt bike for Christmas, we shall see! Dallin really wants to race, so he will need to do some training first.
Here is Conner on a dirt bike. We took them to the Miller speedway in Tooele. They had so much fun and did an awesome job. No one crashed, they learned quickly!
Here the boys are in their gear!
My goal is to be debt free! So I am selling my Suburban which I absolutely love and and so sad about it. But I bought this Honda Accord 2002 in cash so I don't have a car payment and gas will be tons cheaper!
For Thanksgiving my brother Jesse came to visit me from California. This is a picture of his friend Lauren who took some of our family pictures.
Here is Jesse, he is so handsome!
