Georgia update

Georgia is nine months old today!

She is still not crawling which is fine with me. I think once she does start crawling she will be more happier. Right now she wants to touch and eat everything.
Georgia had her tubes put in her ears on Tuesday and ever since then she takes naps. Before she would only doze off when I nursed her. Now she will take two 1 hour naps. Yeah! I can't believe how much I can get done in that short amount of time.
They say when a baby is about 4 months you can start to let them cry themselves to sleep. Well that is when she started getting her several ear infections so I kept putting the sleep training off. Now that she is feeling better I just lay her in her bed, let her cry, and 15-20 minutes later she is out. I hate the crying part, I am hoping soon she will stop the crying and know it is time to go to sleep.
She is such a sweetie, I am having so much fun with her and her brothers. I love them all. They are great kids!

She's such a cutie. Yeah, naps are wonderful. You asked how I could get everything done in a comment on my blog. It's because my toddler takes a 2-3 hour nap every day, and it usually overlaps with the baby's 3-hour nap. And I agree, it's amazing how much you can get done when the babies are in dreamland.

My sister had tubes in her ears for years. I'll have to ask mom if it helped her sleep better or not.

I love my kids soooo much, but nap time is sanity time some days! I'm so happy for you that she is napping. I swear it makes kids happier to get enough sleep and moms too! Georgia is so cute, I hope I get to see her a book club in July, I haven't seen her for a while.
