These are a few of my FAVORITE things!

Here are a few of my FAVORITE things! As you all know I love Etsy. I have made tons of friends on there as well as at local boutiques. Here are some of my favorite LDS products that you can buy on Etsy. Click on pictures or the words in italics to take you to the link.

TIKA KIDS - I love your stuff Annie!

This is a magnet board you can find at Tika Kids for $10. It is made of metal with a vinyl edging(lots of vinyl colors to choose from). You can play with magnets on it and write on it with a dry erase marker! My boys love to play tic-tac-toe and write notes to each other during sacrament. Georgia loves to scribble on it, it's great for keeping kids quiet in Church.

Here is one of the magnetic puzzles that Tika Kids offers for $4.50. She has tons of puzzles to choose from, not all are religious. But I do like the religious ones because they are great for church. When they become to easy for your kids you can cut them down even smaller!

You can also get these darling flannel erasers and dry erase markers for $5.50. Each eraser has a magnet in it so it stays attached to the board and you don't have to worry about loosing it.

This vinyl pouch is adorable and only $3.50. It is perfect for holding all those puzzles and markers. She offers a variety of colors!

Hand Picked Daisy
Jennifer makes the cutest Visiting Teaching Kits. They are $4 and very well made. She has a great eye for detail and makes beautiful things. Check her shop out for other fun things.

Visiting Teaching Kit for May - $4.00

Visiting Teaching Kit for April - $4.00

I'd love your feedback! What do you think of these cute things?

Project 52

My Favorite photographer, Katie Moss with Peek A Boo Photos, challenged her friends at the beginning of the year to do "Project 52." Obviously, I am a little late getting started but here I go anyway. The project is to take photos of your children every week for 52 weeks and at the end of the year you will have some great pictures that you can make into a book. Since I got a somewhat beginner camera at Christmas time (Nikon D60) I thought this would be the perfect challenge to help me get better at photography. Here are my pictures 1/52!

Nothing great but it's a start. I learned that I do not know how to edit, maybe James can do that for me. I know I love using natural light but I still need lots of practice doing outside shots. This was so fun I can't wait to see what else I can come up with. It will be neat to see if there is any improvement as the year goes by.

Which one do you like the best?

Bet you didn't know!

Here are Dallin, Georgia, and Conner at the airport waiting for their Dad to arrive!

Yea!, he is here for GOOD! James is hopefully finished working in Iraq. There is a slight possibility he would have to go back for a month or two but we think he is home for good. He came home about 3 weeks ago and needs to get a job! haha!

Here James and I are in Las Vegas. We went there last Sunday and came back Wednesday. My mom came out and stayed with the kids so we could spend some time alone together. I kept winning money in the slot machines and James kept loosing it at the Texas hold em table. But it was tons of fun.

Another reason we went to Las Vegas was for the Textile Convention. James and I are starting an online designer fabric retail store. We will be launching our store in the next few months. So the convention in Las Vegas was perfect timing. We met a lot of sales reps for the fabric designers that we will be featuring in our store. It is crazy to think that we will have hundreds of bolts of fabric in our home, I will be in heaven. So if you need anything let me know, our site is NewLineFabric.com. Right now we are still working with our web designer, she hasn't quite captured the look we are going for, yet! When you go to the site it is just a temporary page until our site opens.

Now the fun stuff! My sister Lauren came to visit this weekend so we had this air mattress out. Conner thought it would be fun to launch Georgia into the air, she loved it. And the responsible adult taking the picture is of course James!

I can't believe it, Conner turned 10 today, April 5th. I have a son in his double digits. He thinks he is 16 though. He is really into girls, and asked me the other day what would happen if he got caught kissing this girl that he likes. He wanted to see if the punishment would be worth it. We are in trouble!
Happy Birthday Conner, I love you!

Georgia update!

Here are some fun pictures of Georgia. She is a typical girl and loves to dress up with clothes, shoes and my jewelry. It's so cute.

This is Georgia in her Snow White dress up. It is a little long on her so she doesn't wear it that often. But when she does she thinks she is pretty!

Here she is wearing my shoes. She figured this out all on her own and when ever she sees a pair of shoes laying around she slips them on. I have a picture of her sitting on her princess chair with tons of jewelry on I just can't find it. So I'll have to post it later.

This is Georgia eating olives. She figured out all on her own how to put them on her fingers and eat them. How do kids know to do that?

The busier, the better, Right?

So we have been pretty busy lately and that is my excuse for not blogging. Here's what we've been up to:
Dallin got to perform at the UVU Flash Basketball game with his karate SWAT team at half time. They did really well and it was so much fun to watch him. I guess when I cheer him on it embarrasses him!

Here is a picture of me when my hubby was home in December, as you can tell I am pretty happy!

My friend Brandi and I had a girls overnighter up in Park City. Brandi's husband had ankle surgery and was out for a while. He wanted to pay her back for all she had done so we planned an overnighter.
Brandi thought that the two of them were going away overnight

and that I was coming over to babysit her kids. Well on her way out the door I followed her to the car instead of her husband. We had a blast. It was so relaxing. We had an awesome dinner, stayed at Club Le Sprie and of course went shopping the next day. James was home to take my kids and I of course needed a little get away myself.
Here we are soaking our freezing cold feet in the warm bath tub.

This is the lovely picture painted onto the wall of our room. We got to look at this all night! I wonder if they purposely put us two women in this room!

Here is my HOT husband with little Georgia. She is wearing his jacket from when he was a little boy! How Cute!

Awww! I love this guy! He looks so happy in this picture.

Here is Conner holding his map of Utah that he made from rice crispy treat and other yummies. This was a school project.

This is our lovely family on the Heber Railway, Polar Express. We also had James' mother with us.

Georgia wasn't too sure about Santa Clause. I have a feeling she will like him better next year.

Conner and Dallin love sledding this year. Here they are on a Saturday at their school sliding down the hill.

At the beginning of December we flew James' Mother out to see us. She was here for a week or so.

Here is my Hot husband again on Christmas morning. He is wearing Georgia's Snow White cape with his Superman shirt. Very fitting!

Christmas morning at my Dad's house in San Jose, CA. Georgia is riding her new little pink princess bike while wearing her new Snow White dress up.

All Conner wanted for Christmas this year was the Lego Train set. We told him that was all he would get since it is expensive. He got it and of course a few more things!

Dallin got an Electric Fender Guitar.

Dallin turned 8 in November and earned his Bobcat in one week with the help of his Dad. Here he is being awarded his Bobcat.
